Thoroughly disgusted with the idea of McDonald’s in the Louvre, I came up with this little sketch. I realize it’s an obvious solution but I can’t help but chuckle about the idea of a ‘Drive Thru’ museum. Last time I went to the Louvre it took me eight hours to get through it and I still didn’t see everything. [Click to Enlarge]

I know, I shouldn’t… but I can’t help getting on the bandwagon of the media hype. If this actually becomes serious, I’ll retract it but for the moment, here it is. Between the chatter in the twittersphere about the Aporkalypse, all the references to The Stand, the fact that people are telling each other not to eat hot dogs [which I personally think no one should do anyway...] and the pictures sent around of a little girl kissing a pig at the petting zoo with the headline “don’t do this!” leads me to believe the “scare” is along the lines of the world ending at midnight in 1999 with all of the computers blowing up simultaneously.
